Jenn Campbell
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Jenn holds an M.S. in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. They have engaged in policy and community building work with several groups around Austin, especially groups focused on immigrant justice and fighting homelessness. Their current areas of focus are youth liberation, building equitable networks of care and conflict resolution, and fighting the displacement of racialized groups in Austin.

Kayla De Leon
FACILITATOR
Kayla is an undergraduate student at Texas State University, majoring in psychology and minoring in philosophy. She is working towards continuing her education and pursuing a PhD in psychology. She enjoys working with kids and is excited to bring awareness as well as leave a positive influence.

Jaenie Gonzalez
FACILITATOR
Jaenie was born in New Jersey and raised in Sugarland, TX. She is currently in her final semester of graduate school and will receive her master's degree in international studies from Texas State University in December 2024. In 2020, she graduated with her bachelor's degree in international studies and a subconcentration in politics and diplomacy from Texas A&M University. In the past, she has worked with nonprofits within Austin to help empower vulnerable and at-risk communities worldwide through education and mentoring. During her free time, she enjoys bouldering, yoga, and spending time with her two cats Milo and Rin.

Shaneal Harun
FACILITATOR
Shaneal has engaged in social justice and communtiy work with several groups around Austin, engaging issues such as environmental justice, homelessness, and cooperative housing. They hold a B.A. in Government and African & African Diaspora Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. They are committed to racial justice and youth liberation, and are excited to work with students as they develop awareness of their own identities and social issues.

Jorri Odom
FACILITATOR
Jorri is currently an undergraduate student at Texas State University. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in human development and family sciences. Her joy and love for working with kids is very strong, and she can’t wait to teach kids about society and the things we experience as individuals, both positive and negative. Jorri is here to spread love, joy, and awareness.

Adrian Pitts
FACILITATOR
Adrian was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, and received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is committed to supporting students as they develop awareness of their identities, and hopes to provide instruction that emphasizes mindfulness and introspection. Outside of Equity Kids, he contributes to science research projects at UT Austin and Texas A&M University.

Esly Terán
FACILITATOR
Esly Terán is a senior at Texas State University, majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Human Development and Family Sciences, and Latino Studies. She is from Tamaulipas, Mexico and was raised there most of her life. To her, it’s important that kids recognize and become proud of their backgrounds as well as for them to have an open mind about others’ differences. She is thrilled to be working with kids, making a positive impact on their lives.
